Meet Elizabeth

Elizabeth shooting in Guam

On location in Guam

I knew I was a gypsy spirit destined for a life of travel and discovery very early in life. Growing up in the international ski village of Olympic Valley, CA (the site of the 1960 Olympics), I was keenly aware of the larger world outside of the idyllic bubble that was my home.  My nascent curiosity was further awakened every winter when interesting visitors from all around the world came to play on our mountains.

A year-long family ramble around Europe when I was nine, sealed the deal on my life journey. As soon as I was old enough to take off on my own, I bought a Eurail Pass and did the youth hostel tour.  When I returned to California, I enrolled in U.C. Santa Cruz for a year and spent half the term on a field study in the slick rock desert of Utah.  I soon realized that I was simply too restless to sit in a classroom, so I took the next year off from school…which extended into two and then three years off.

For next few years, I moved through life like a whirling dervish, until becoming a mother enticed me to settle down, and I temporarily set my wanderlust on a shelf.  Three babies later I found myself back in my mountain village as a single mother looking for my true path.

I had reached my limit with what I was doing (landscaping) and I needed to find the tools that would allow me to fulfill my passion of effecting beneficial change in the world.  It was then that I embarked on my career of video production.  Over time, I gained solid skills working as a free-lance media professional in the Tahoe area, while also being able to hire onto larger feature films and commercials when they came to the region.
